About

Hello and thank you for stopping by.

My name is Chris, and I am from Buffalo, NY. I’m a dad to two wonderful daughters and a husband to my best friend. We’re doing our best to raise our daughters in this crazy world that is changing by the minute.

Life is busy. There’s school. Sports. Dance. Playdates. School concerts. Father/Daughter dances. Social interactions with other parents. There’s even working bingo night to raise money for the school.

All perfectly normal things. Mom’s a social butterfly. The kids make friends at the drop of a hat. Everyone’s always getting together and wanting to meet up for this and that and go here and there. Awesome!

Except, here’s the thing. Dad’s an introvert!

What’s easy for so many is a huge challenge for dad. But I need to be there. I want to be there!

Are you like me? There are plenty of us out there. We’ve got our comfort zone; we’ve got our select few people in our circles.

And it’s ok!

I’m running this blog not because I want to change who I am, but because I want to grow as a person, a father, and a husband. I can accept the person I am, but also take steps to enrich my life and the lives around me.

It took decades of my life for me to realize that there is nothing wrong with me being introverted. It’s not something you have to be ashamed of or to run from. It’s not something where you have to pretend to be someone you’re not. That’s mentally and emotionally exhausting.

I’m here to tell you, that you can be you.

Let’s help each other embrace the introvert inside us, while at the same time, not letting that get in the way of having a fulfilling family and social life.
